Our team’s ability to understand local issues and our knowledge of the global market have been the catalysts in the creation of this successful industry’s sub-cluster around Unmanned Aerial Systems. The centre offers a large variety of airspace suitable for performing UAS testing on small as well as large UASs, with Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) to Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) requirements.
This cluster has been flourishing for over 8 years and is composed of 20 members with organizations/businesses involved in R & D, Flight and Ground Testing, Manufacturing, Training, UAS Operation and Maintenance.
Every year since its inception, the UASCE has leaned on Explorer Solutions to access government recognition, add services and capabilities and more recently for the development of a Prequalification Centre and the creation of the associated standards. This Centre will provide the procedures, testing airspace and infrastructure for operators to demonstrate their capabilities to serve specific sectors, namely, public security, agriculture, natural resources, hydro, environment, infrastructure inspections etc.
